my work blends form and function, aiming to create objects that are both beautiful and useful. Stylistically, I am drawn to sharp, angular forms contrasted with light, natural glazing techniques that highlight the material’s subtle textures. For me, ceramics is both a personal discipline and a way of maintaining balance in the midst of a demanding professional life.

kincaid ceramics first started in the pottery studio at quincy house of harvard college. as a resident tutor, i was given access and my love for wheel-throwing took off from there. While my primary professional affiliations are in medicine and biomedical research, I am equally committed to the arts as a sustaining practice. The soft skills I have cultivated through this artistic practice—patience, humility, and resilience—have become central and complementary to my approach in clinical encounters, where careful listening and openness are essential.
