jack is a medical student at harvard medical school and a resident tutor at quincy house of harvard college. at quincy, jack both helps pre-medical track undergraduates assemble their applications to medical school, as well as helps run the house’s on-site pottery studio.

he is drawn to pottery because it balances precision with improvisation: clay teaches patience, humility, and resilience in the face of collapse, cracks, or kiln unpredictability. he enjoys exploring how surface treatments, glazing, and firing techniques can transform simple vessels into expressions of texture, color, form, and self.
